Executive board member. Creates agendas for and leads board meetings, guides the board in fulfilling its responsibilities and ensures effective organizational and operational structure.

Secretary: Katie Barnhart

Executive board member. Collects and organizes all written information (calendar, schedules, performance booking requests, equipment inventory, membership contracts and liability forms, historical record-keeping). Records notes at board meetings.

Treasurer: Allyson Kegel

Executive board member. Manages budget, dues, donations, and proceeds. Heads financial committee

Artistic Director: Amanda Thomas-Murphy

Executive board member. Oversees all musical/creative/artistic decisions of IPE, head of the music committee

Community Liason: Rachel Gulick

Executive board member. Collaborates with community partners, establishes internal and external relationships for Iowa Pride Ensembles, provides unique insight into board decisions

Concert Band Chair: Nevi Zerkle

In collaboration with the artistic director and music committee, duties may include rehearsal planning, conducting, programming, gig scheduling/logistics, and other creative/artistic decisions for the IPE Concert Band

Jazz Band Chair: Paul Lichty

In collaboration with the artistic director and music committee, duties may include rehearsal planning, conducting, programming, gig scheduling/logistics, and other creative/artistic decisions for the IPE Jazz Band

Marching Band Chair: Gary Nell

In collaboration with the artistic director and music committee, duties may include rehearsal planning, conducting, programming, gig scheduling/logistics, and other creative/artistic decisions for the IPE Marching Band

Marketing Director: Mandy Heeren

Leads all design, website, promotion, and PR items for the organization. Leads the marketing committee and delegates tasks to those volunteers. This position is open to two Marketing Co-Chairs depending on interest.

Membership Director

Leads member communication regarding dues and organizational information, plans membership socials, supports check in process at rehearsals. Is responsible for tracking any new members.
